GLANCR Feed does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Almost everything stays on your device.
Platform login sessions, app preferences, caption history, and any credentials you enter in Settings are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted to us.
If you use the AI caption generator, the prompt text you type is sent to our Supabase backend which forwards it to the Anthropic Claude API. No account information or personal identifiers are included.
GLANCR requests microphone access for Voice Control — saying a platform name opens it fullscreen. Speech recognition is performed using Apple's on-device Speech framework. No audio is stored or transmitted. You can disable this in Settings.
GLANCR does not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies.
When you access social media platforms through GLANCR you are subject to each platform's own privacy policy. GLANCR has no control over their data practices.
GLANCR is rated 17+ on the App Store. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 17.
We do not collect personal data on our servers. All local app data can be removed by deleting GLANCR from your device.
